Bauspot HolCer (Hollow Ceramic Microspheres)
BAUSPOT HolCer is a hollow particles’ material composed mainly of silicon, alumina and calcium borosilicate. It contains an inert gas (nitrogen) or carbon dioxide into its cavity.

- BAUSPOT HolCer is an ideal filler as it provides the lowest surface to volume ratio of any size. This results in the need for less resin or binder, which allows formulations with high filler loads, lower viscosity and reduced VOCs compared to other irregularly shaped fillers.
- Bauspot HolCer is widely used in a variety of finished products, from paints and plasters, to plastics and sealants (see here). Whilst it is a very successful material for cementitious applications, its wide scale use is not broadly known (see here).
